Great - there are no errors obvious in the CBS background either.

Please attempt the Updates again - one at a time.
What happens?

Hi All the updates have installed with one exception Office 2010 sp2 32 bit. But it keeps asking about the disc so i'll re do it with the disc in.
You asked me to remind you about cleanup?

Thanks for all your help, brilliant!!

(dammit! lost the connection and post as I was sending - again! - try again....)

So for so good, then

Open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following commands....

TAKEOWN C:\Windows\winsxs\r25aa /A /R
ICACLS C:\Windows\winsxs\r25aa /grant AdministratorsF) /T
RD C:\Windows\winsxs\r25aa /S /Q
RD C:\r25aa /S /Q

- that should run without error (I hope) and remove the created files. Then you can delete the downloaded files and job done

Good luck!
