Cannot install some windows updates or SP1 - logs attached

Having problems installing updates (including SP1)

    Errors:-

    Windows Update

    KB2619339, KB2621440 and KB976932 = Error Code 8024200D

Trying to install SP1 via standalone installer gives me TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE(0x800b0100)

Have run system update readiness tool - checksur and cbs logs attached

Have also run SFC and no problems were found

Also run various fix-it's etc on MS site, but none have made any difference to the problem

I can't find the SFC details in your CBS.log - they probably got archived into the latest CBSPersist log, so please post that.

I'll post a fix protocol for the above errors in a bit.

    I've uploaded a file - wgsaa.zip - to my SkyDrive at Noel's SkyDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder wgsaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

    Great! - well done :)
Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier.

It's an interesting CheckSUR, that, as both .mum and .cat files were corrupt initially, and both were replaced by my fix - it looks like CheckSUR got itself confused about that, and still tagged the .cat file as corrupt, even though it wasn't.
I suspect that just running CheckSUR again would have shown that there was no longer a problem.

No problem at all - suspect you are always busy!

I assumed it was just that the .cat file for that update was missing from the original fix?, but anyway all sorted now thanks
