Sure, but what am i looking for? I've run it all night and it's still going. Everything is still green. Nothing has turned red, if that was what I was looking for?

Also, since I recently (Monday) reinstalled Windows 7, I haven't gotten an update for service pack 1 yet, so my current copy of 7 is pretty old.

Matt not sure what you mean by still green the HW program is only to dig into the machine component areas and give you a detailed report on them.

If you have done a reinstall then I can tell you that getting the SP 1 is very tedious and time consuming you are far better off doing it again with the ISO from this link I sent before Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
there is some instructions for Dell owners so have a read on them.

The ISO has the SP1 with it so you don't have to do it separately and from experience when I first loaded 7 it was without SP1 and it was a painful experience and now avoidable.

The ISO you want I think is the top one in this link under the small advert. Windows 7 Direct Download Links

What I mean is I've run it all night and it's still going...nothing is red. I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for when running HW. How do I get that detailed report. Does it ever stop running?

Matt you should have it open like in my pic as you can see I have the memory opened out to see what the brand and details are the only things that will be running are the CPU usage in the smaller window. Once you have gleaned what info you need you just shut it down it doesn't do anything but show you what you have in the machine.
I only put you onto this because of the earlier queries about the machine specs - it is just a tool not a fixer or suchlike.
