    in Elevated Command Prompt
    Code:
    chkdsk/f c:
You have to reboot afterwards. No errors? All repaired?

After that: run Download System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [November 2013] from Official Microsoft Download Center

    and post %SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log and %SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log

Alright, I followed all of the instructions and nothing worked. What now? What exactly does posting my CMD logs help accomplish?

If you don't post the logs, we have absolutely no idea what we are dealing with.
If you do post the logs, we have a reasonable chance of curing the problem.

Either post them, or go and play in your own sandbox without our assistance.

I was just wondering. Wouldn't be too helpful if I posted something I shouldn't have, would it.

I'll get around it it later. In any event, Merry Christmas!
