OK, That was excellent timing. Come home from the New Year's Gathering at the folk's, and I'm only sitting for 10 minutes and my email chimes about your post! Here's the latest logs and link:

And now it's my turn for a short hiatus for some sleep. It's just before 4 AM here - so no rush on the latest set...I'm heading to bed. Thanks again for all your help so far, and Happy New Year once again.

OK, I think I found out what happened. Somehow, when I renamed a key, rather than a simple rename, it created a new instance with the new name. (or I missed that there were two instances present anyhow)

I've uploaded the new COMPONENTS hive in the file iglaf.zip - please use the same procedure as previously to replace the existing one, then run CheckSUR again post the results, reboot, NO need to upload the new COMPONENTS hive again.

Huh - found another error off in the wild and woolly bits of the registry that impinges on these results, so I've fixed that, and we'll see what that does to the results...

Here's the results (from the iglag.zip, not iglaf). A bit of improvement.

Ever get the feeling you're going round in circles?

I'm obviously missing something - all the 'new' values were checked against the ones in my machine.

I'll review it again in the morning.
