Sorry about the delay - I've been a little busy!
This looks fairly simple - here's the relevant errors from the CheckSUR report...
    Code:

    I've uploaded a file - yrzaa.zip - to my SkyDrive at Noel's SkyDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder yrzaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Did you copy it to the correct folder?
There's no change in the report...

You must make sure that the full path is correct...
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages\......

    I've uploaded a file - yrzab.zip - to my SkyDrive at Noel's SkyDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder yrzab in the same place.

(with luck I have the right files this time!)

Phew! - got it right that time! :)
    Code:
    Summary:
    Seconds executed: 506
     Found 3 errors
     Fixed 3 errors
CBS MUM Corrupt Total count: 3
Fixed: CBS MUM Corrupt. Total count: 3
Fixed: CBS Paired File. Total count: 3
Please now run a new SFC /SCANNOW and post the new CBS.log - if it says' no integrity violations' then test Windows Update by doing a manual check for updates, and then attempting to install the oldest available update.
