Build 7601 This copy of Windows is not genuine

Here is another unit - near two years old - I activated it back then - that joins the non-genuine list.

    Hoping someone here can assist.

NB: I have run CHKDSK /R and SFC /SCANNOW with nothing showing up that this old coot can see.

NBB: This is a dual boot system (Win8.1-all brought and paid for. Win7 -original from shop installed OS - activated as soon as I booted up at home for the first time nearly two years ago. And PCLos - not functional at present.) Windows8.1 is giving this system hell right now and until a couple of days ago I had been doing my production work with Win7. [Samsung DP700A3B-Touch Screen] I thought Win8.1 had sorted when Samsung produced drivers for Windows8 - ran fine for a couple of weeks - but at present playing up again. I only mention this in case this relates to my Windows7 problem.

So - what now? I do believe I updated Windows7 to a Pro & Media Pro Version because this is where Windows8 got to when I opted for the clean install update at the time. Hence dual boot using the Windows8 boot loader.

I'm within Windows7 now with it showing the non-genuine message - so I must be running out of time???

This is a legal OEM key. Suggest you make a robo call to Microsoft. Not sure where to call in your country though. There are these numbers I found - if they mean anything to you:

    (64) (9) 356 3093
    (0) (800) 676 334

Not sure why this all happened but got my system back to normal by selecting to change the activation key in system while within windows7.

So for now........... , everything is back to normal!?!

Please post an MGADiag report so we can check the true state of the activation.
The original problem was caused by the OS's inability to properly read the SLIC table in the BIOS - changing the Key to the one on the COA sticker *should* have fixed it, but other factors can interfere.
