KB2742599 will not install. Error 800B0100

    Error code 800B0100
I ran the SURT and it fails on this install too.
I ran the sfc scan and it didn't find anything.

I think this has something to do with WebRoot software that was previously installed. This is my mothers PC.
I ran the uninstaller and cleanup tool provided by webroot but some issue. The update fails

    Thanks.

Your earlier runs of CheckSUR appear to have completed properly, and fixed all found problems...
    Code:
    Summary:
    Seconds executed: 3400
     Found 44 errors
     Fixed 44 errors
CSI Manifest All Zeros Total count: 41
Fixed: CSI Manifest All Zeros. Total count: 41
CBS MUM Corrupt Total count: 3
Fixed: CBS MUM Corrupt. Total count: 3
Fixed: CBS Paired File. Total count: 3
However, SFC is still complaining about problems which CheckSUR should be finding.
There are a large number of instances of this error...
    Code:
Line 1386: 2014-01-25 10:35:42, Error CBS Failed to verify if catalog file \\?\C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\4e6ee18e9ad6abc3f0cc99df193373ca\update.cat is valid. [HRESULT = 0x800b0100 - TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE]
     Line 1388: 2014-01-25 10:35:42, Error CBS Failed to create internal package [HRESULT = 0x800b0100 - TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE]
This implies that the SoftwareDistribution\Download folder is corrupted in some way.

    Open an Elevated Command Prompt
    Run the following commands

    NET STOP WUAUSERV
    REN C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download download.old
    NET START WUAUSERV

    reboot
then wait 10 minutes, and open Windows Updates, and run a Check for Updates.

Install only the oldest update found - and reboot once installed
then go back to Windows updates and install the others.
