How To Activate Windows When COA Sticker is unreadable?

I have this Lenovo Y560 laptop which cam pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium Build 7600. Had been using this laptop for three years now. I made the recovery disks using its One Key Recovery software a long time back. But these disks are unusable right now A month back I started having frequent BSODs (Ox116?)
and sudden blackout after windows log-in . But after restarting for 3-4 times, my laptop used to work fine for a day or two and suddenly the problems started again. So I formatted my hard-drive with gparted leaving aside the LENOVO_PART hidden partition containing back-ups. But I thought of doing a clean reinstall. So I followed the a guide for oem installlation in the forum and used the key which I got from using Magic JellyBean Keyfinder since the COA sticker has almost faded dude to my rough usage, I never paid attention to thhis sticker . But when I called Microsoft to activate, they said that key is blacklisted ( I was like WTF?) The guy almost became rude and told me you are using a pirated copy and the key is available online. I googled the key and HELL! They were true, apparently there were many other of those "OEM KEYS FOR IBM-LENOVO". So I had no other choice but to boot to the recovery partition and use the factory default image, but its not working anymore throwing up errors since I had changed the original partition sizes. Will the Microsoft guys give me a another product key for this installation or I have to resort to paying for recovery disc full of bloatwares

Someone else had the same problem in this thread. Read it all but look especially at post #7. You may have to call several times before getting someone with a brain.
