Take a look on the bottom of your laptop or in the battery compartment for the COA sticker. It looks something like the attached image.

You'll need that information if you call Microsoft or do a re-install

    edit: replaced COA image

Please post the full MGADiag report.
ALso tell us where you got your license from, and whether you have a COA sticker for any version of Windows on your machine, and for which version/edition of Windows it's valid.

The SATELLITE PRO L850-1P8 appears to have shipped by default with both Win7 Pro, and Win 8 Pro - so your machine should have come with the options.
Is there a COA sticker on the case for Win7 Pro? If not then there may be a possibility that your OEM_SLP Key was somehow removed from the installation, and the KMS Key installed instead - you could try using the following Key in the instructions below and see if it works...
    2V8P2-QKJWM-4THM3-74PDB-4P2KH

    Recreate the Licensing Store
Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-Click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator - accept the UAC prompt
Run the following commands in the Command Prompt window, using the Enter key at the end of each

    net stop sppsvc
(wait until the service has stopped before entering the following lines)

    CD %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
    REN tokens.dat tokens.bar
    net start sppsvc
    slui.exe 3

This will force Windows into asking for a new Key - use the one above, and see if activation occurs.

If there IS a COA sticker, please use that Key instead.

    Hello
I tried this method, after that you mean that I can go to my computer-properties-and down below it is where it
shows the key and says change product key..
not in another place right? because when I did that on computer-properties etc now it shows me another error code, but this time is 0xC004F063 :/
(The box and its papers are in another country and I cant get anyone to get in my house at the moment unfortumately :/)
and I tried in the field of the command as well and it sais that its invalid :/
and apart from that it was 10 days for activation and now it sais that I need to activate NOW (((

I'm just jumping in for a moment, Noel has the definitive answers.

Computer Properites where it says change product key is the correct place. Noel suggested a temporary key (I quoted his post in this post) but the actual COA key is what you should use.

Error code 0xC004F063 is only telling you that Windows is not activated. This is a result of the steps Noel gave in his post under the Recreate the Licensing Store heading. It is the intended result of those actions.

I'm a little confused when you say:
The box and its papers are in another country
Are you not in front of the computer? The COA sticker should be on the machine (side or bottom, perhaps the battery compartment for a laptop).

I'm back to being an observer.

Noel mentioned Win8 and Win7. Did the laptop ship with Win8 and you downgraded to Win7. If so, how did you downgrade - a disc?

I read some things too quickly re: Win8 and I lost closed the browser window, so I lost the page. It was in reference to the where Win8 stores teh SLP key, so it might not apply here.

I find it hard to believe that there is no COA sticker. Please check again - make sure you look in the battery compartment under the battery.

Do not post the key itself, but do state what product is on the key (Win8 pro...Win7 Pro)

If you downgraded from disc, yes the key might be on the disc.

Keep calling home - someone is bound to answer at some point :)

    Thanks,

    Bill
