What should i do man?
What should i do man?
The mans name is NoelDP.
We all post back to him with the name Noel.
He is a highly skilled and respected person on this and many other forms.
In my opinion hay man shows disrespect and rudeness.
Layback Bear.
No worries, Bear :)
All the output looks normal, so I'm tending towards a repair install as the solution - it should work.
i assume you are using Home Premium as it matches Microsoft's 30 day free activation period
when you re-install windows via a DVD or system restore provided by your laptop or PC it will automatically use 1 of many keys provided by a file on the disc
you where given advice from microsoft on this issue please follow their advices
This copy of Windows is not genuine...
All apologies, i'm still newbie here. Deeply sorry if i offended you.
Will try repair install and post whether it works or not.
After reading through everything if nothing anyone has suggested works you could try downloading this WAT_Fix.zip - Solidfiles More commanly known by people who try bypassing Windows Activation Technologies and use the wrong software to do so resulting in errors when activating WAT.
WAT Fix will do the following:
Correct file permissions
Correct important system files
Correct services required for activation
Correct VBS file associations
Remove Microsoft entries from the HOSTS file
90% of responses in that forum (at least over the past 4 years) are from me :)
...and NO - NONE of the Keys on ANY Windows disk will activate in the normal way.
The problem here is, I now suspect, corruption in the registry- and unless it's a single error in an obvious place, is going to be almost impossible to find and correct.
WATFix is a thought - and certainly worth a try. Just be very careful about which button you click on and make sure that you read everything on the page before doing so!
You need to click on the small 'direct download link' under the big green button, and NOT on any of the buttons on th page.
You'll still get a popup - just close that unread - but at least you won't get conned into installing iLivid or whatever is flavour-of-the-month.!
