    KB915597 update issue...


    I've installed this update to Win 7 Pro 64 bit (twice unintentionally) and it keeps reappearing in Windows Update even after I've hidden it! How do I get it to stop?

    Hi there .. I would try to Uninstall it .. Then run Windows Defender and update it ..

    Thanks for the post NoelDP but does that pertain to me? I'm not getting any error messages. The update installs successfully. It just keeps wanting to install. And although it hasn't recurred lately it also possessed a remarkable ability to "unhide" itself which was getting more than a little annoying.

Unable to Update KB915597 - Error Code 80070670
in Windows Updates & Activation

Hi, Lately have been unable to install KB915597 update (Definition Update for Windows Defender), getting Error Code 80070670. (screenshot attached) Though have installed the update manually, but still wana know the cause of this update failure. Pls assist.
