...if the zip file won't upload, remove the oldest CBSPersist file and try again - it almost always means that the upload is too large (Max 8MB)

I did follow the instructions, and i have posted the two updates and their fail codes, I just cant upload the cbs.zip file.what is the " oldest cbs persist file"

I found the cbs persist files, i deleted the oldest but its still too large, still 18mb.
There are 4 cbs persist files in the folder??

Delete the later CBSPersist files as well - see if that brings it below the limit

The Essential files we need are CBS.log and CheckSUR.log - compress them separately if necessary, and upload each.

Got there in the end

There are actually no errors in the SFC log, and none in the CheckSUR log.

There are however a few minor errors in the background CBS.log data.
For the moment, we can ignore them.

Please download the offline installer for KB2667402 from here... Download Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2667402) from Official Microsoft Download Centre

attempt to install it, and then do a new Check for Updates after it installs (hopefully!)
