The sysinfo file is 1.64 MB and the CBS file is 12.0 MB. I'll try the sysinfo file and see what happens. It worked

I have tried the posting and the CBS file was too large (12 MB) so I couldn't upload it. I did upload the sysinfo file nd it uploaded OK. I had a friend suggest hiding the IE 10 update but I can't find a method of doing it. The Windows Update folder has a left frame that included a link to restore hidden updates. I would be happy with hiding it. Any suggestions?

You can hide an update by right clicking on it, then select "Hide" from the dropdown.

I don't see your sysinfo file, I don't think that was requested anyway.

If you want to try uploading your CBS here,

Free File Hosting - Online Storage; Upload Mp3, Videos, Music. Backup Files

    Then posting the link.

I tried right clicking on the update in the winows update folder but the dropdown menu didn't hae a hiding entry. I have uploaded my CBS.zip file to the file hosting site you suggested.

    Where is the link?

    It should look like this,

    http://www.filedropper.com/superwindows7

After you upload you will see a page with this,

    Attachment 315438

You have to high light that line I have in blue there, then right click, select copy.

Come back to your post here and right click in the editor box of your reply, select paste.
