    Yes, it's probably the quickest solution - and possibly the surest.

    I'm just reporting back that I actually did a clean install instead. Thanks to some easy guides on this forum, I not only was able to do it easily but also I leaned many things with this and other BSOD problems I had.
    I got an .iso file with SP1 version. Everything now is smooth and perfect
