7 Pro Upgrade suddenly not genuine (0xC004F200)
It's an HP computer that originally had Windows 7 Home but it was upgraded to Windows 7 Pro about 2 years ago. It's now showing that Windows isn't genuine. It seems to have happened after installing an update, but I'm not positive. It had Symantec Endpoint installed but I removed that once I started troubleshooting.
I tried the fix where I stop sppsvc, rename tokens.dat to tokens.bar, and then start sppsvc. When I run slui.exe I get a Software Licensing window that says Windows isn't genuine, go online and validate. If I try that it fails and advises me to purchase Windows.
If I run slui.exe 3 at that point and enter the 7 Pro upgrade product key, I get Error 0xC004F061, this product key can only be used for upgrading, not for clean installations.
Any advice that will avoid having to re-install and re-upgrade would be much appreciated. :)
