    Hmmm...
    Code:
    Checking Component Store
    (f) CSI Corrupt Component Keyform 0x00000000 identity x86_microsoft-windows-wlan-dialog_31bf3856ad364e35_6®1.7600.16385_none_0f84cb394ef88186 identity and keyform do not match; keyform is wrong.
Too late tonight - I'll post the fixed version tomorrow.

Here we go :) - assuming it's finished uploading...

    I've uploaded a file - jwmab.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it to your desktop.
Right-click on the file and select Extract All, and save to the default destination (which should be a folder on the desktop)

Create a new System Restore point

Open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following commands.

    REN C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS COMPONENTS.OLD2
    COPY %userprofile%\desktop\jwmab\COMPONENTS C:\Windows\System32\config

If you get an error with either command, STOP THERE - do not reboot! - post for instructions.

Assuming both commands go OK, reboot, and run another CheckSUR scan - post the new CheckSUR.log file.

Great! - that's fixed the problems that CheckSUR found - now please run another SFC /SCANNOW.

If it comes back with 'no errors found', try Windows Updates again, doing a Check for Updates first.

If it throws errors, post the new CBS.log file.

Hello there, i think i am having the same problem with KB2931368, get's me error code 66A. This is very annoying because Windows keeps "notifying" me about available updates but i just can't install it.

    Checksur shows no errors, CBS shows;
"Failed to internally open package. [HRESULT = 0x800f0805 - CBS_E_INVALID_PACKAGE]".

Greetings from Jan van der Hoeven (Ridderkerk, The Netherlands)

Please start a NEW thread of your own, and follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data.

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

It appears that it's not that easy: error 66A with update KB2931368.
