Well; the ie11 was really designed for windows 8; and therefore ie 11 can be installed on windows 7. That might be why you cant install it.

That is not correct, IE 11 can be installed in Windows 7 & it is installed & working on my Win 7 with no problems.

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data
If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CBA files, for a number of reasons)

If the issue continues please consider telephoning the "technical assistance" department of your computer's manufacturer. Since your computer is new you should have at least 1 year's warranty with the manufacturer even if you did not purchase the computer directly from them. To determine this go to your computer's manufacturer website and register your computer or simply call them.

It is important to register your computer with the manufacturer's website whether you decided to contact them for assistance at this time or not. Important information about your computer, i.e., manuals, drivers update, etc. can be found there. Also, you may decide to contact them at a later date. Usually all that is required to register is date and place of purchase and model, service tag and/or express code of the computer. You may also request a free copy of the appropriate Windows and drivers installation dics when you call:
