The Key is genuine - but the installation is counterfeit.

The Key is an OEM_SLP Key only valid on machines which shipped from Acer/Packard Bell/eMachines - and your motherboard is a retail MSI one which cannot have come from any of those companies.

The activation has been enabled by a hacker's Activation Exploit to simulate the SLIC table in the BIOS required for self-activation of the Key.

Nope - this Key cannot be bought (or sold) except as part of a brand-new machine from a major manufacturer.

He used an activation exploit to make it look genuine. However, it is most definitely counterfeit as pointed out by Noel.
