Hello KKOP and welcome to Seven Forums. To help us help you could you please fill out all of your system specs?
You say you tried a few solutions to no avail could you please give us a brief description of what solutions you have tried?

Have a look here and follow the steps lined out by Microsoft for update errors.

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data
If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

I ran the CheckSur until it said installation complete and then tried to reinstall the updates but got the same error.

As for the CBSPersist files... I am confused. it appears that all the same entries from the original folder are also in the zip folder??

Can you explain how to post these? I could not find the %system... Folder it says to look for the checksur results in. Also, I don't know how to include the other entries from the CBS persist files. The normal and zip versions seem to contain the same entries.
