uninstalled IE11 and somehow got back to IE8

so today i finally gave up on Internet Explorer as I came across something I didn't like and all of a sudden when my computer comes back on I am running on IE8 again I don't know how this is even possible as I had IE10 on here before and I also had IE9 as well I did end up running a check for Windows Update and IE9 and 10 were there and i am waiting for it to install I will post an error code if I get one and the requested data I am kind of puzzled though as why it went straight from IE11 to IE8 if anybody thinks they know why it would do this please let me know thanks

Had you run System Cleanup to remove redundant files? If so, that's probably the reason - it had no other option but to revert to the default.

I uninstalled Windows 8 back to Windows 7 on a New Laptop Issues
Yes I did it. I bought a new laptop from Best Buy and had the W7 Disk and it worked. The only problem I am having is in Device Manager, "Unknown device" The USB Ports? The right USB port works well, but the 2 on the left do not work. I tried everything. Does anyone know how I can get them to work...

Uninstalled IE9, not reverting back to IE8
I uninstalled the IE9 update I had to have it automatically revert back to IE8. However, my Windows does not have IE8 in "Turn on Windows Features on or off" menu. I'm using a Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit upgrade from Windows Vista (the key can't be used with a 'normal' install disc).
