    Windows Activation - Status not available error 0x80070002

    Suddenly started getting "Windows not Genuine" message with "Windows Activation - Status not available" and "Product ID not available".
    Running slui.exe 3 with valid key gives error 0x80070002.
    CHKDSK and src /scannow ran.
    Computer Management shows SPPSVC set to Delayed Start but starting service manually gives "Error 2 cannot find the file specified.

    2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
    3. Locate the .ZIP file that is created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

    Faulty DIMM caused OS corruption. Restoring from an old Backup image.DMcC
