Windows 7 SP1 update failed, causing Windows Update errors

    I don't think it applies here - it's great for fixing things when the services are borked, but I don't think it knows enough about the pending.xml story (neither to I, to be honest!).

    I should be able to spend some time delving into this tomorrow...
