    code 8024000E Updates Error

I'm getting this error code when searching for new updates and I also have 3 updates pending to install but I can't install them automatically from updates or manually when I download them from Microsoft separately..

    3 Updates in question are;
    KB2891804
    KB2847077
    KB2926765

    in attachment is my log..

thanks in front, this is my first post so if I can add anything that could help solve me this problem I'll try get all the info possible, but all I've read and tried so far (some automatic tools from Microsoft) didn't help at all..

I'll post a fix for that later

    As to the other problems,
This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -

Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers
try downloading and installing them from here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=22194

    (you want the iata_enu.exe download)

    I've uploaded a file - wzmaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.

Right-click on the saved file and select Extract all...
Change the target to C:\ and click on Extract
Close all windows (it would be a good idea to print these instructions!)

Now reboot to the Repair Environment - as soon as the machine restarts, start tapping F8 - this should bring up the Advanced Boot Menu, at the top of which should be the option 'Repair my Computer'
    Pick that
You'll have to log in with your username and password.

Pick the option to use a Command Prompt
    At the prompt type
    DIR C:\wzmaa
hit the enter key - if you get a 'Not Found' error try
    DIR D:\wzmaa
    or
    DIR E:\wzmaa

The drive letter in use when you find the folder will need to be substituted (for<drive>) into the following command...

    XCOPY <drive>:\wzmaa <drive>:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h

    (e.g. XCOPY P:\wfire P:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h )

run the command (it should take almost no time) and when the prompt returns, type
    EXIT
and hit the Enter key to exit Command Prompt - reboot to Normal Mode Windows.

Now run SFC /SCANNOW in an Elevated Command Prompt
then reboot and upload the new CBS.log file to your reply

There's one new/remaining error in the SFC scan - which we'll have to deal with differently.
    Code:
     Line 8093: 2014-09-06 13:29:26, Info CSI 00000364 [SR] Repairing 1 components

Line 8097: 2014-09-06 13:29:27, Info CSI 00000367 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:36{18}]"Pretty_Peacock.jpg" of Microsoft-Windows-TabletPC-Journal, Version = 6.1.7601.18493, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch

Please download SFCFix from here... http://www.sysnative.com/niemiro/apps/SFCFix.exe and save it to your desktop (we'll need it later anyhow, I think)

Once saved, double-click on it and accept the warnings. It'll run, and create a file SFCFix.log on the desktop - please upload it to your reply.

    it looks like updates are working now and I've managed to install several new and those 3 that was problematic now are installed, anyways here's the log of scan with above tool in attachment;

p.s. I also had problems with system rating but that's not really important now.. so big thanks, but I'll monitor it for a day or two if some other problems appear..

I'll not mark post yet as solved, till I see actually all works, at 1st glance it does..
    once more BIG THANKS

Strange that SFCFix didn't pick up on the error above - but good news that updates are now working.

Does System rating still not work? - I think at least some of the errors that we did manage to fix could have caused the problems there as well.
