I don't know yet. I always wait until Saturday before installing them. That way, if there is a problem, there is time for the word to get out before updating. So far, when there has been a problem, M$ has had time by Saturday to pull the problem updates, if not fix them.

    Updates Issues

Made my usual system image backup before Patch Tuesday.

After disabling Firewall, Auto Sandbox and other security that could interfere with WU I get 11 updates. On reboot I see 23,145 registry changes being monitored. I see 100% CPU usage. Ten minutes later - still 100%

    Checked Resource Monitor

    CPU Usage 100%
    RAM Usage 100&
    Service CPU Usage 100%

Reboot - same issue. Clear RAM cache and File Cache. Same issue.

Booted into Safe mode - took no action, just left the machine alone for a few minutes.

Rebooted and find that everything is normal and working fine.

I subscribed to this topic and I'll hold off with updating when more people say it is not giving them any problems.

I normally do them in bunches, never allow windows to throw them all on at once. If one or more hang up you have no idea which one did it, i usually do them in 2's
But like Lady , i wait a few days to see what others experienced , not just for my own but i maintain 40 machines where i do all their updates and i would prefer to know in advance of there is a crazy update among them all

I treat Important updates the same and load them at the same time,
Optional ones I of course review for applicable situations for my use,
These two optional one this round were interesting enough to load after booting from the first round,
I usually wait for a while on optional/ recommended if I load them at all I still have 21 optional updates I have not loaded and probably never will except for ie11 eventually
