Unable to install Update Service Pack 1

Get Error Code, 8007371B.

Have run Malware Bytes and AVG anti virus.

Advice appreciated.

CheckSUR found and fixed a problem which could have caused the error message you got.

Please do another Check for Updates, then attempt to install ONLY the oldest update found.

If it fails, post the C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file.

Hmm-
Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data
If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

get an error message with I go to upload Cab file. get error invalid file. File is less then 8. I shortened name but did not help. Advice?

The forum doesn't accept CAB files - copy them to the desktop, then rename them as .zip files and it'll work
