Thanks - any chance you could post a Windows Update screen shot showing the dates installed?

Sorry I wasn't specific - View Update history screen
I'd like to see the KB number and the date installed - sorted by date installed showing the most recent.

I checked my machine and found Windows Update presents updates differently (installed updates vs. View update history) - that might be my machine (running Win8)
Attachment 336250
As long as I can see the date, it will make it easier for me, that way I don't have to double check each update.

Please also attach the C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log

I looked at the CBS.log file and there are some things I'm not sure about (I'll ask for more help if I need it after looking at the Update history).

There are a few paths to take and I'm trying not to make it any more work for any member (including yourself) than necessary.

Thanks for being patient with this sticky issue.

Bill

There's no significant errors (and no SFC results) in the posted CBS.log - please upload the two latest CBSPersist cab files (you'll have to zip them, as the forum doesn't allow upload of bare cab files)

I'll do some research and see if I can work out what's happening and post a fix.

Woops!

I can't actually find anything wrong with the registry hive (but I can't claim to be an expert!)
This may mean that there's a problem with the file itself

Please open an elevated command prompt and run the following commands...

Cannot update from IE10 to IE11 with 9c59
I am having issues to update from IE10 to IE11. Also cannot install updates KB3003057 or anyones which this one supersedes such as KB2987107, KB2977629, etc for months. I have run the CheckSur and sfc for a few times already and the latest one does not seem to have lots of errors. Also ran the...

I can't get IE10 or IE11 to install
Sorry - not exactly a novice, but I get a server error when I try to attach my CBS.zip file. My guess is the file is too large at 11mb. FYI- when I ran /scannow, I got no errors. The reason I'm trying to attach the cbs.zip file is because I can't get IE10 or IE11 to install on my Win7...

Hi, I have tried via the Microsoft forums and got no where. Initially I tried to install IE10, but it keeps failing as pre-requisite KB2670838 will not install. On trying the standalone installer it comes back saying 'This update is not applicable to your computer'. Now the same is...

How can I fix my IE10 after that update from IE11
Not too long ago Gregrocker was so very kind and totally did a reinstall of my Windows7 Home Premium Edition 32-bit for me. IE10 and IE11 FTP Explorer view issues
Interesting thread here. Basically if you want to keep using FTP in explorer view with normal functionality then steer well clear of IE10 and IE11. IE10 wont allow me to open FTP files in Explorer View Sadly MS shows no inclinations to fix. I feel IE10 and IE11 are a backwards step over...
