    - so the file is definitely missing, still.
I can only think that you got the command wrong somewhere, and that the files got copied to the wrong place.

Are you sure that you used the correct drive letters? Did you include the spaces in front of the / switches? Did you get any kind or error message running the XCOPY command?

I don't think so - but I will try again just to make sure.

When i put in "XCOPY D:\windows\winsxs \y \i \s \v \h" it says there was insufficent disk space. I have about 90 gb remaining though.

    Uploading cbs file now.

That almost certainly means that you were attempting to copy the files to the wrong drive-letter - did you do the check for where the folder was (which should tell you the correct letter)

The correct drive is C. Whenever I try the DIR c:\sklaa command it says "file not found" even though I am 100% sure it is in the right spot. I tried using DIR c:\windows and it said "file not found" as well.

    NOOO.
You may boot to C: in Windows, but in the Repair Environment, it is much more likely to be D: or E: (depending on the manufacturer, and/or the way that the system has been configured.0

    please follow the instructions given!

    Sorry about that.

I followed your instructions again, and I guess I kept mistyping previously because it worked. I'm really sorry, I'm not too great with computers.

However, here is the new CBS folder. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wmkfkg7egewtw7b/CBS.zip?dl=0

Thanks again for all your help so far!

    The errors are still present.
I have an alternative method for doing the replacements - I'll work up the patch protocol later and see if we can get that to work.
