Windows Update 800B0100 error when trying to apply KB2918614

Hello. Long time listener, first time caller. I've got a Toshiba Satellite P755-S5120 that is running Windows 7 Home Premium and is getting a 800B0100 error whenever I try to apply either KB2918614 or KB3000988. I have tried running the SURT on a couple of different occasions as well as having tried sfc /scannow. Attached are the CBS logs from the computer as well as screenshots of the failure event in Windows Update.

I've also tried manually running the updates, and actually tried reinstalling SP1 in the vain hope that I could use an overlay install of that as a repair. Interestingly, the SP1 install also threw a 800B0100 error.

    I've uploaded a file - s74aa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder s74aa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be ine folder inside it ( Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.
