Windows Update Repeats same 4 updates every time

For the past several months, my computer always attempts to update the same 4 updates every time when shutting down. The update history always shows that the update was successful, yet it insists on updating it again and again. The updates are: (Screenshot attached)
  • Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2676562)
  • Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2871997)
  • Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2872339)
  • Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2882822)

I have executed the SURT tool and it was unable to fix the Windows Update error 0x8007370B problem. See attached screenshot.

I have executed the SFC scan and it failed with the following message Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation -- See attached screenshot.

I have executed the Windows Update tool and it found no errors, however, it always asks me to install the same updates every time. See attached screenshot.

I have attached the CBS.zip file from my computer for your review.

Thank you for reviewing this and I anxiously wait for your support.

When you see the updates, click on it and then hide.
You must set the windows update to notify and not to install automatically.
You will not be bothered again.

Three of the four updates are security patches, so you'll eventually want to get them installed.

Please attach the c:\windows\logs\CBS\Checksur.log

What are the optional updates?

1) Try booting into Safe mode and run SFC there. Post the new CBS log

2) Try installing one at a time (untick the others)

If the above work arounds don't help, see if any of the online MS fixits help.

I'll look at the CBS and Checksur logs if you want to wait on the MS fixits.

I think that the OP is saying that they are installed, just keeps getting them again.
If I am mistaken, finding a way to install them would be the best way to go.

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data
If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)
Also, please attach the C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file to your reply.

OK -- Here's what I've done so far:

1. Rebooted in to safe mode and attempted to run sfc /scannow -- this failed with the same error message as shown in screenshot above.

2. Attempted to install each update one at a time, but encountered a new problem where it won't let me see the updates that need to be installed. Got error message that says Windows Update encountered an unknown error with code 8007370B (see screenshot below)

3. Re-ran SURT tool and attached CBS zip file -- which includes the latest copy of the Checksur.log file as requested.

Please advise what to do next.

The remaining problem indicates that the source of your problems may be hardware - probably RAM.

Please follow the instructions at RAM - Test with Memtest86+ and post the results.

I need to have a look at your COMPONENTS registry hive

Please copy the C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS file (no extension) to your desktop and then compress it - upload the compressed file to your favoured fileshare site (preferably Dropbox or OneDrive) and post a link.

OK - First off, I was unable to copy C:/Windows/system32/config/COMPONENTS because it said that the file was open, so I had to reboot into safe mode in order to make the copy.

Here is the dropbox link to the compressed COMPONENTS file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/smjbq4qnri...NENTS.zip?dl=0
