If I install the IE update, it succeeds, but after reboot, it reverts the changes :-(

Hope some of you might help me, this has been stuck in two months,

This appears to be a permissions problem on either the files themselves, or the container folders.

Let's see if we can find out where the problem lies...

Open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following commands...
    Code:
    ICACLS C:\Windows\winsxs
    ICACLS C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-msmpeg2vdec_31bf3856ad364e35_7.1.7601.18519_none_847415a0a12661f3

    Those all look normal.
I'll have to trawl through my own registry and see in I can relate the errors I see with something there and make sense of it.

Cool, let me know if you need any more information. The procedure is that it fails the one update and installs the IE11 one. But after reboot i fails, and reverts the IE11 update. I does that every time the machine Boots.
