Hey guys my 3 or 4 year old laptop just started telling me windows is not genuine. Would appreciate any help with this.

This was most likely due to a recent update that was bad.

Download the update in the link below and reboot:

I did not get the message on reboot, but it usually only appears after my pc goes into sleep mode for a while. If it doesn't pop up in the next few days, I will mark this as resolved. Appreciate the help

One last thing, can you go to Start > Right-click Computer > Click properties

Towards the bottom of this screen, can you tell me what it says in "Windows Activation"?

No need to post the numbers, just if its activated/genuine or not.

No issues past few days. Also my windows is activated. Problem fixed. Appreciate your help.

I'll probably be up in Gville for the season opener as well to see the debut of our new offense. Hopefully we turn it around.
