Been a couple of hours now and no message so far, so fingers crossed. Out of curiosity what did that process do to stop the message ?

Been a couple of hours now and it hasn't appeared, thanks Noel. Out of curiosity why did those set of actions work ? What did they do ?

Many AV's restrict access to parts of the system - and this process seems to have been heightened by the errors that the bad patch introduced. turning the AV off gives the system a chance to correct itself - hopefully permanently.
