Windows 7 Professional 32 bit update error code 80073712

    Hi,

I have an update error code 80073712 with my windows 7 professional 32 bit system for few months. I tried sfc /scannow and also system update readiness tool to resolve the issue with no success. Also "windows feature turn on/off" is empty. Kindly help me to solve this problem.

    Thanks, Best regards

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

We need the CBS.log file and the CheckSUR.log file particularly

    Hi Noel,
Many thanks for your reply. In my first post, I have already attached zipped "CBS.rar" file. Please see it. Otherwise I will upload it again tonight.

That doesn't contain any of the required data.

I am unable to open cbs logfile, showed an error and also cant copy this folder to desktop. After going through @OPTION THREE@ SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker , command findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt" creates an empty log file in Desktop.

Any help to solve this problem will be appreciated.
    Thanks

Please follow the instructions in the link.

If the full set of files is too big to upload to the forum, upload them to your favourite fileshare site and post a link.
