Internet Explorer 11 cannot be installed, Error 9C47

Hi 7-community,

I have a sturdy problem regarding Internet Explorer 11 installation (atm I use IE10). Every time it fails with error code 9C47 ("unknown error"). My first attempts to solve this issue where sfc -scannow and CheckSUR. In short: they couldn't fix the problem. I looked into the created logs but for a lack of experience regarding the deep insides of Windows I could only identify that Windows has severe problems.
Therefore I googled a lot and found out that this is the best place for being helped. I heard about a specialist called NoelDP It'll be great if someone could help me avoiding a fresh Windows installation. Please let me know, if I can support you with some more logs etc.

Logs (OneDrive)

PS: I have two CBS.logs. One was created during CheckSUR, the other one during sfc -scannow.
PPS: I also tried to remove IE via "control panel>add/remove programs" but the only thing which appeared, was the small window..... blank (i.e. no functions etc. appeared).

I've uploaded a file - pkcaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder pkcaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be two folders inside it (Manifests, and Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

And the content of the manifests folder (.manifest files) into this folder:

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Hello TrashZone,

I think there is no need to add all hardeware-details of my computer to solve this problem. Or am I wrong?
No registry cleaners where used. Security solution: Sophos Anti-Virus

I want to try to fix the problem with your help (and gain some knowledge). If we don't succeed, I prefer a clean reinstallation of Windows before doing a "dirty" repair installation...

@NoelDP: I will report in about 2 hours! Thank you in advance.

Hi NoelDP,

Thank you for your help! I copied the content to the folders you mentioned and ran CheckSUR.

Results: Onedrive - Logs2

Looks like the first step was successful. Before we take the next step(s):

1) Where did you get those .mum and .manifest files from? From another Windows installation?
2) Why did you choose those rows from the SFC scan and not the following example:

Code:
2014-12-16 11:20:06, Error CSI 00000134 (F) Unable to load manifest for component [ml:280{140},l:172{86}]"amd64_microsoft-windows-ieframe_31bf3856ad364e35_10.2.9200.17116_none_e2a5d5981e739b3d"[gle=0x80004005]
Shall I try another SFC run?

Thos weren't from the SFC scan - they were from the CheckSUR scan - and will hopefully have fixed a large proportion of the errors present in the SFC scan.

CheckSUR is happy now...
Code:
Seconds executed: 94
 Found 22 errors
 Fixed 22 errors
CSI Manifest All Zeros Total count: 18
Fixed: CSI Manifest All Zeros. Total count: 18
CBS MUM Corrupt Total count: 4
Fixed: CBS MUM Corrupt. Total count: 4
Fixed: CBS Paired File. Total count: 4
so yes, run another SFC /SCANNOW, and post the (compressed) CBS.log file

Hi,

and where did you get the replacement files from you provided?
