IE11 update fails with 'Code 9C59' error.

    Hmmm - maybe I should take a closer look at the registry first... something just doesn't sit right.

    I need to have a look at your COMPONENTS registry hive

    Please copy the C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS file (no extension) to your desktop and then compress it - upload the compressed file to your favoured fileshare site (preferably Dropbox or OneDrive) and post a link.

    Just as well I checked first...there's nothing in the registry from an IE 11 install, so it sounds as if the error I spotted is actually from from the installer itself.
    If you Hide the IE11 update, are you offered IE9/10?

    Nope if I hide the IE11 update no new updates become available.
