Hi there, couldn't help but make this suggestion/excuse/reason for the current crop of updates for both 7,8 and 8.1, maybe Microsoft it getting all our machines ready for 10, I know it is probably a total replacement but I suspect there's more than just a normal restore point this time, in fact I'd put money on it. this could be the breaking of Microsoft (and a lot of us) if it did blow up in their/our faces.

MSE updates flagged in Win 7 updates but not XP Mode updates
I find it odd that when I do a Windows Update in Windows 7, the Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) updates are also found. But if I do a Windows Update in XP Mode, the MSE updates are not found. I don't suppose this is controllable? I'd like the Windows Update to find MSE updates.
