Too many updates recently?

    Too many updates recently?


    Hi,

    I noticed that there are too many updates recently. And no matter how many times i update them, more appear... What is wrong actually? I am still on window 7.

    If you are referring to Windows 7 Updates; how long ago did you install Windows 7.

    Almost everyday since last week. After each updates and and start up my PC, more appear... Its no ending..

    how long ago did you install Windows 7.
    You just keep updating and booting. Then check for updates again. Continue this process until their are no more updates.

    That picture you posted does not show the dates.

    Please answer the direct questions asked.

    I ask these very precise questions so we know what you have done and what you are trying to do.

    Any time you install Windows 7 their will be somewhere over 100 updates.
    You just keep updating them until when you Check Windows Updates their are no more.

    It just takes time. We know that because we have done it. A lot of the time depends on your internet speed and your computer speed.

    No hurry.
    While you are updating just don't do anything else on the computer but the updates.

    Have you activated you system?

    Some of the updates showing in the graphic are fairly old ones - it may be useful to have a look at the log file....
    Please upload your C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file so we can take a look.

    Noel is our expert on such matters so please follow his instructions.

    Noel what do you think of using this to clean up old updates.
    I use it often after a bunch of updates.
