Boot to Safe Mode - does that work? If so, use System Restore to return to an earlier backup

Safe mode did not work. Performed a rollback from windows cd. Going to install one at a time from oldest to newest until it bricks pc again.

Current list of updates needed to be installed. Any screwy looking ones known for issues?

    Sorry about that!.

The problem update appears to be KB3002885, which is partially installed, and erroring out on the reboot.

This update is actually a replacement for a dodgy update KB3000061 - if you have that installed, perhaps uninstalling it would be a good idea.

Please try installing the update by downloading the standalone...
