    Possible Fake Windows Ult x64

I have a possible. It's more of 99% I'm sure it's fake. (After reading the multiple threads around here. Searching around.)

It's one of those "00426 OEM 8992662 00006" stuff, but I ran through all the Microsoft validation stuff that normally a cracked software would cause the DRM to go crazy, but so far it didn't. If it's valid, it must be my head. (Doubt it) If it's a illegitimate can you tell me how to make that show up on my computer? (So I can have valid proof against a the third party who did some repairs.)

Having a complete list of your system hardware specifications makes it far easier to troubleshoot issues. Use this to help gather that information:

System Info - See Your System Specs

On a retail motherboard (such as yours), its a violation of the licencing agreement to install an OEM version of Windows (ACER OEM)....so, yes, it is considered a counterfeit installation.

How do I show it as a fake Win7. I mean having the super cool (not really) black screen plus the notifications of "Your product isn't genuine" and the other stuff. I need my computer to tell me so I can confront the third party.

The installation was tampered with so I have no idea how to do that. You show them this thread.

    Well okay.

I was hoping for some way of reactivating the drm from Microsoft.

Where is the Green Checkmark though?

    Also thanks for the help.

If you run SFC /SCANNOW, it may find file errors and correct them - this sometimes breaks the hack and allows Windows to flag the true status of the install.

I can confirm that this will break at least 1 of the methods to illegally register Windows 7
