BSOD forced me to reinstall / now I'm getting major update errors

BSOD forced me (after a full night of trying to repair, run chk dsk, etc) to wipe and reinstall. Now I'm getting major update errors and errors with everything else. "Windows has encountered a problem and must restart" type of dealioS. Ran SURT, tried to install updates after, no go. Tried that a few times. Tried running System Mechanic, no go there either. Starting to look longingly at Windows 8... I can't seem to keep a copy of Windows 7 running smoothly. I'll attach files and screen shots as I've done this before. Noel was a huge help last time, and on Xmas even!

Just now BSOD (first time after windows reinstall)... system ran chk dsk upon reboot, I believe it found some errors and fixed them. I then ran chkdsk via cmd, found no errors. Trying the SURT and updates again for the hell of it. I'll upload new log files after. Typing this on my Mac (boo hiss) ...

critical error, forced restart. I'll see if I can't re-upload new log files. Then I'm headed to the living room to blow off some steam. Windows can eat a big bag of D*cks.

Force shutdown during "gathering files and progs" prompt of the install ... Using an install ISO. Burning "latest and greatest" to disc and attempting repair install again.

You now have failures in your new CheckSUR logs that weren't present before They are of a type that makes me immediately think of RAM problems.

Funny I pulled the G Skill RAM last night thinking it was *another* bad stick... but still had problems. I will download this, put it on a usb stick. shut down. unplug and put the g skill back and run the test on all those suckers. Thanks Noel.

ps. After repair install it *seems* fine, but I'm too afraid to run updates. :-\
