Anyone installed today's updates yet - issues?

It's a shame that we don't get any advance notification about the updates anymore. Currently away from my home machine. Have today's patch tuesday updates been released yet? Any issues or do they appear to be safe?

I only have 1 update so far for today, and it's an update to Windows Defender. All good so far for me!

Kb3001652 seems to be stuck - something to do with visual studio tools for office runtime - reading around it seems quite a few others are seeing this. What should I do? Shall I select stop installation? It's already installed 6 and was on this 7 out of 21. I don't want things to mess up!

Ok this is a pain. I hit stop installation fed up of waiting for it but the process isn't cancelling. It's still saying installing updates stuck on 7 out of 21 except the stop installation button is greyed out now. Nightmare, I don't want to bodge windows because of this update

Yeah but did you have kb3001652? I clicked restart but now instead of restarting its stuck on installing update 7 of 21 please do not power off or unplug your machine! It's pretty bad as I have a cache SSD which doesn't take kindly to unclean forced shutdowns. Messes up the cache map - worst time to happen too in the middle of updates!!!

    I did a quick search...here the results: Kb3001652 - Search Microsoft.com

    Looks a well discussed issue!

I'm trying to install it as stand-alone, in a few minutes...Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime

    Edit:
Looks that this Kb 3001652 had been pulled up from Windows Update, i do not have it installed because i'd hard rebooted and its not showing up again.
