I also ran the malware-byte software scan, it came back clean.
I bought the full malware-byte software last week and during the first run a lot of problems show-up, however they were all fix.
Interesting.
The CheckSUR.Persist.log file has an old scan result from July 2012...
This would tend to indicate that there was a massive problem at that time - and it's likely that the problem was only patched over, rather than properly cured.Code:Summary: Seconds executed: 61437 Found 76945 errors Fixed 76945 errors CSI Missing Component Key Total count: 12940 Fixed: CSI Missing Component Key. The current CheckSUR.log file shows no problems.
The only errors in the CBS log tend to indicate a failed attempt to install Service Pack 1 - the SFC scan was clear.
I rather think your best option is going to be a repair install of Windows.
Hi,
I had issues with the repair install for windows.
However, I access the partition on my hard drive, that had the windows software, and performed a new installation.
My computer is back and running with the service pack install.
Thank you
