More likely an error in the Disk Cleanup Utility that deletes the fact that these updates were installed. Install them and don't run Cleanup and they won't show up again.

I'm waiting for a few more updates to occur before I run the Disk Cleanup Utility again. Maybe they will fix it!

This would appear to be the case. In my case I can find 8 instances of KB3021952 and 3032359 being installed over the last little while. Quite bizarre.

I hope MS fixes it.

See my post same thread as tblob: FYI: Extended Disc Cleanup has started killing recent Windows Updates

  • As long as (a) KB3032359 is listed in Installed Updates and (b) you stop using the "deepclean" (Windows Update cleanup) option when running Disk Cleanup, neither KB3032359 nor KB3021952 should be offered again via Windows Update or Automatic Updates.
  • Alternately, you may hide KB3032359 & KB3021952 if still being offered as long as KB3032359 is already listed in Installed Updates
  • [No, I dunno how MS "broke" it (Mine: Windows Update Cleanup Detection logic) but they did. We'll just have to wait until they fix it.]
My thread @ M$ Answers: KB3023607 repeatedly removed by deepclean after - Microsoft Community

Bottom line, if you're being re-offered these 2, Win Updt Cleanup is falsely detecting KB3023607 as "superseded", don't run WUC. If KB3032359 is listed in Installed Updates (NOT History) your Internet Ex-PLODE-r is "fully" patched

Yes I've quickly scanned all the threads here and at MS and elsewhere.
In installed updates, both listed as installed on 24 March, so all the subsequent so-called installations are hogwash.
I guess the cleanup utility needs patching, more-so than IE11.

If you pass this test in Internet explorer that would be all that matters,
Besides if the updates show successful in installing I'd just hide them,
Microsoft Windows vulnerable to 'FREAK' encryption flaw too

For me and others the problem has gone since May patch day! No more (old) updates after Windows clean up :-)

Looks fine again: KB3032359 & KB3021952 - Keep re-presenting for installation but - Microsoft Community
