Problem with repeated updates: KB3021952 and KB3032359

I install Win7 updates manually upon notification - Automatic Updates is off. I always install "important updates"; therein lies the problem with these two. If I check Windows Updates via:

Control Panel > Programs and Features > View Installed Updates

they do not show, and therefore cannot be uninstalled via the usual method.

In addition, I have run this command:

    wmic qfe list brief /format:htable > "%USERPROFILE%\hotfix.html"

which lists all updates in the "hotfix.html" file in the USERS directory; neither update appears there either.

When the Updates icon shows in the Notification area (lower right part of screen - rightmost section of tool bar), however, the "Your Update History" link shows that the above 2 updates have been installed three times each; in addition, both of them are shown as "important updates" ready to be installed - again!

To remove all prior versions, I tried commands from the command prompt (which I ran as administrator):

    wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:3032359 /quiet /norestart

    wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:3021952 /quiet /norestart

    to no effect at all.

When installing the updates, no errors occurred; no errors showed when I ran sfc /scannow as instructions for posting in this forum say, I received a message indicating no violations:

    C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
    Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

I have no error messages in logs or otherwise to show; the updates always install without error - three times so far. I may be partially at fault, since I (1)run "Disk Cleanup" daily and (2)delete files left behind by Windows Update. I shall no longer delete the Windows Update files, but in the meantime would appreciate any help in dealing with these two infinitely repeating updates.

    Thanks in advance.

Same problem here. Widows Update Cleanup detection logic FUBARed, see my post here:
FYI: Extended Disc Cleanup has started killing recent Windows Updates

Don't run (uncheck) the Update Cleanup box when running Disk Cleanup until M$ finds a fix.

    Thank you, Urthboundmisfit!!

I had not realized that the updates themselves had been removed by M$; thought there was some internal glitch that prevented Update procedure from realizing that they had already been installed. After reading your post I re-installed the updates and restarted PC, whereupon the necessary update (the latter of the two) shows. Will uncheck Update Cleanup until further notice!!

    Once again, many thanks.
