    Optional Update KB3035558 Information


    This optional update installs on Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 Update 1 computers. It's for the download and install of Windows 10.

    Update for Windows 7 and 8.1 silently installs Windows 10 downloader - Myce.com

    New optional update KB3035583 available

    I was going to post there, but have nothing significant to contribute, except possibly that I checked, and the update is enabled by default even in systems where the 'enable notifications of new Microsoft Software' option is NOT checked - i.e. a fresh/clean install of Windows 7.

    Yep I would suggest a title change to reflect what the update is for

    Compatibility update for upgrading Windows 7
    Same old story upgrade update for win-10 = Hide.
