Windows 7: Windows Update Error 800B0100

Wow that was fast! I ran the CheckSUR tool and it still returned 2 errors for packages that were not fixed. I have attached the log files. Thanks!

I've uploaded a file - lbfac.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder lbfac in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folders inside it ( Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages


Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Very strange happenings here. I placed the packages in the folder and ran the CheckSUR utility, saw all errors fixed, zipped the logs, and restarted. I then attempted to update and it failed with the same 800B0100. However, the Windows Features list which I mentioned yesterday did populate this time after the checkSUR tool ran successfully. I have attached the checkSUR.log and the checkSUR.persist.log.

Sorry my case has been so much trouble!

CheckSUR appears to have found one error - and fixed it...
