I`m not installing the latest 2664 update, read it`s description, if you think it`s safe install it, I`m not.

There`s no reason for this update if you`re not gonna upgrade to 10.

I got curious to see the updates installed and saw more KB2952664 installed(since may 2014)
The last was on March 1 o.O'

I do not understand. I think it is normal to have more than one right ? Because the patch appeared last year there is no problem in having more than one... right ?

[]Compatibility update for upgrading Windows 7,
    []KB2952664 update won't install
(There appears to have not a negative comment about the patches)

But why now we have to avoid install it ?

Which appears in WU is from June to August.
You can hide any Windows Updates to do with Windows 10.
Go to Windows Updates and then right click the update to hide.
I think Microsoft wants everyone to upgrade to Windows 10.
I have decided to stay with Windows 7.

So did you register for Windows 10 and then change your mind about upgrading?
That is the case for me.

No, I have 10 on a completely different ssd for this box, but that`s unplugged, not into 10.

I have another computer with 10 on it when I want to play with it.

    jhexp67 : I also plan to stay in windows 7 :)

AddRAM : A large list. I am comparing this with two other published lists to see if they are complete or to add to mine. I have the KB2952664 x2. But it is normal to have the others KB2952664(2014-2015) and not the last two(June-August ), right ? Sorry to repeat the question. I'm a noob at this

I will stay with Windows 7 too. The only other O.S I would consider is Linux Mint.
