Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11 (KB3038314)

I can't get the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11 (KB3038314) to install. I keep getting an error that is 80092004.

Is there a workaround for this issue?

Sadly, no. It appears M$ doesn't care about anything but Win 10.

Well, I plan on upgrading to Windows 10. I hope this doesn't interfere with my upgrade. Will it? Also, do I hide the update?
