Great - down to the last few, now...
I'll post another file soon (I hope!)Code:(f) CSI Catalog Missing 0x00000002 701ac6bcaab92f26d2cac89d5f9bd87410011164c0e28243ea0a3feb2b2e8dc5.cat 7420076a954..3a7bbcf025f_31bf3856ad364e35_9.4.8112.20544_b9f705b2169ec63a Missing catalog or invalid CatalogThumprint (fix) CSI Catalog Missing CSI File Replaced Deleted CatalogThumbprint (f) CSI Missing Deployment Key 0x00000000 a3e1c672740..6cb13f4ab55_31bf3856ad364e35_9.4.8112.20553_8733543093bb5d05 HKLM\Components\CanonicalData\Deployments (f) CSI C Mark Deployment Missing 0x00000000 c!b39418523ac..7fb713e8260_31bf3856ad364e35_9.4.8112.16447_8bcaac7a1f009773 amd64_microsoft-windows-ie-jscriptdebugui_31bf3856ad364e35_9.4.8112.16447_none_2efaef03a053cf66 (f) CSI C Mark Deployment Missing 0x00000000 c!b39418523ac..7fb713e8260_31bf3856ad364e35_9.4.8112.16447_8bcaac7a1f009773 x86_microsoft-windows-ie-jscriptdebugui_31bf3856ad364e35_9.4.8112.16447_none_d2dc537fe7f65e30
OK, here we go...
Filename is ape3x.zip - use the same procedure, and then post another CheckSUR report.
Congratulations. Here is the final file.
YAY!!!
That was a lot easier than I was expecting it to be!
So - What does SFC /SCANNOW have to say for itself?
Do Windows Updates work now?
Hi Noel.
I marked this thread as solved, was I premature ?
Here is the result of sfc /scannow and the accompanying CBS file.
Please note that I did not reboot the PC before running the sfc /scannow.
I have not tried the windows updates as I thought they would not run in safe mode and that I believe my bsod will still be present as it is most likely due to another error.
BTW I have started a new thread in this forum, asking for aid with the BSOD.

No problem with the current machine- just some minor hiccups.
I'll post another fix later.Code:Line 3271: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 00000384 [SR] Repairing 11 (0x000000000000000b) components Line 3272: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 00000385 [SR] Beginning Verify and Repair transaction Line 3275: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 00000387 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:24{12}]"wextract.exe" of Microsoft-Windows-IE-IExpress, Version = 11.2.9600.16428, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3278: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 00000389 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:32{16}]"msrating.dll.mui" of Microsoft-Windows-IE-Ratings.Resources, Version = 11.2.9600.16428, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture = [l:10{5}]"en-US", VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3281: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 0000038b [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:108{54}]"63921eef-8415-4368-9201-f0df4af5778f.devicemetadata-ms" of Microsoft-Windows-Printing-FDPrint, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3284: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 0000038d [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:24{12}]"types.ps1xml" of Microsoft-Windows-PowerShell, Version = 7.1.7601.16398, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3287: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 0000038f [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:18{9}]"athrx.sys" of netathrx.inf, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type = [l:24{12}]"driverUpdate", TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3290: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 00000391 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:36{18}]"Amd64\EP0NRE8D.DLL" of prnep00g.inf, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type = [l:24{12}]"driverUpdate", TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3294: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 00000393 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:110{55}]"Policy.1.0.Microsoft.Powershell.Commands.Management.dll" of Policy.1.0.Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.Management, Version = 7.1.7601.16398, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_MSIL (8), Culture neutral, VersionScope neutral, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3297: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 00000395 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:24{12}]"AcLayers.dll" of Microsoft-Windows-Application-Experience-Mitigations-C5, Version = 6.1.7601.18128, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_IA32_ON_WIN64 (10), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3300: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 00000397 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:24{12}]"fastprox.dll" of Microsoft-Windows-WMI-Core-fastprox-dll, Version = 7.1.7601.16398, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_IA32_ON_WIN64 (10), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3303: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 00000399 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:20{10}]"iassam.dll" of Microsoft-Windows-Networking-Internet_Authentication_Service_Iassam, Version = 6.1.7601.18685, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_INTEL (0), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch Line 3306: 2015-05-11 11:05:01, Info CSI 0000039b [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:40{20}]"sbs_wminet_utils.dll" of NetFx-SBS_WMINET_UTILS_DLL, Version = 6.1.7601.18514, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_INTEL (0), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch
I've uploaded a file - aplab.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the saved file and select Extract all...
Change the target to C:\ and click on Extract
Close all windows (it would be a good idea to print these instructions!)
Now reboot to the Repair Environment - as soon as the machine restarts, start tapping F8 - this should bring up the Advanced Boot Menu, at the top of which should be the option 'Repair my Computer'
Pick that
You'll have to log in with your username and password.
Pick the option to use a Command Prompt
At the prompt type
DIR C:\aplab
hit the enter key - if you get a 'Not Found' error try
DIR D:\aplab
or
DIR E:\aplab
The drive letter in use when you find the folder will need to be substituted (for<drive>) into the following command...
XCOPY <drive>:\aplab <drive>:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h
(e.g. XCOPY P:\wfire P:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h )
run the command (it should take almost no time) and when the prompt returns, type
EXIT
and hit the Enter key to exit Command Prompt - reboot to Normal Mode Windows.
Now run SFC /SCANNOW in an Elevated Command Prompt
then reboot and upload the new CBS.log file to your reply
